Triangle Community Foundation – Triangle Capacity-Building Network Grant

Since 2014, The Triangle Capacity-Building Network has engaged local partners in conversation around the capacity building needs of Triangle nonprofits. This year, they are offering $25,000 in capacity building funds to organizations led by and supporting communities of color. Applications are open until May 28th 2019. Coastal Federal Credit Union’s 2019 Power of Sharing Award

Four nonprofit organizations will will be chosen to receive awards at Coastal Federal Union Foundation’s Power of Sharing Gala. This year’s event aims to fund organizations with projects or programs that promote financial well being or contribute to education. Wake County Community Foundation Grant

The North Carolina Community Foundation grantmaking program funds a broad range of purposes to meet local needs that include education, human services, basic needs, and more throughout the state. Wake County’s Community Foundation Grant is currently open until May 7th 2019. Grants typically range from $500 to $1,000. Only organizations with annual budgets under $500,000 are eligible to apply. SunTrust Foundation Grant

The SunTrust Foundation aims to support Southeastern organizations with a focus on financial education and counseling and career readiness and workforce development. Applications are submitted throughout the year. Wells Fargo North Carolina Grant

Wells Fargo provides philanthropic support for organizations focused on Human Services and Community Development. Organizations in Wake County are elible through the Triangle and Eastern NC Region. Their first priority is to support programs and organizations whose primary mission is to benefit low- and moderate-income individuals and families, with a focus on projects that keep our communities strong, diverse, and vibrant. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, unless requests are for event sponsorship. Cary Community Fund

The Cary Community Fund aims to help improve the lives of economically disadvantaged families and individuals residing in Cary. Grants typically range from $500 to $1,000. Duke Energy provides grant funding to nonprofit organizations focused on workforce development, education, and state defined needs.
