The Oak City Outreach Center (OCOC) opens it’s doors today, June 14th, for the first time to our neighbors in need. Individuals experiencing homelessness or seeking food assistance can visit between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM Saturdays and Sundays. Specific meal times will be posted at the site, however distribution will be ongoing between these hours.

Be sure to visit the Oak City Outreach Center tab on our website for more information, such as contact email, parking directions, and volunteer sign up to become a host.

The OCOC has been a great undertaking, and with deep appreciation, we thank all those who have joined our efforts to provide a safe, clean, and friendly environment for those who come seeking assistance. Individuals, nonprofits, community groups, city and county governments, and churches alike have put a great deal of time and effort into showing our community here in Raleigh and Wake County that we can close the hunger gap together.

We look forward to seeing this successful and inspiring story continue, and again, we thank you.
